1. They are seeking death penalty because he was the captain of the ship and ti was his job to assure that all the passengers got off the ship safely but he abandoned them.
2. I disagree with the death penalty because it wasn't like he personally killed those 300 people, but i feel he should be imprisoned for failure to do his duty.
3. I feel that the death penalty should be used in cases where there is a murder who went out and killed all of those 300 people by hand. It shouldn't be used to a case where it was a natural cause sinking and there was nothing to be done.
